We're Going Back to 12 Shirts/Year

Good morning all,

This is going out in place of the normal new shirt notice you’d get every two weeks. We’re switching back to a month-long sales cycle – 12 shirts per year. We’ve been on a two-week cycle and it was working out alright, but I think we can deliver better design quality consistency and do better customer service this way. (Which, by the way, are the two things this project has always been about: customer experience and kick ass design.)

You don’t have to do anything, but you will be getting less new shirt notices. We’ll keep delivering quality limited edition handmade goods with one-on-one customer service.

Thanks for everyone’s support. We’ll be back with a new design in a few weeks.

Sincerely,

Wade Meredith

I, for one, enjoyed the bloody heart shirt.

My kids and nephews are jazzed with each release of a new t-shirt.

Obviously, they are now disappointed at the slower-pace that you just announced.

The glass half-full is that you’ll still be doing this!

Same here, Brian. I have lucky number seven.

Agreed with Brian and Trevor. I have 17 and I love it. I am still hoping for similar ones in the future.

I am also a bit disappointed that you’re scaling back again. When you switched to every two weeks I was very excited, I suppose it was nice while it lasted…

Anyhow, I have one large concern with the one per month schedule, and that’s delivery time. I recently turned a friend on to your site, and he bought the last shirt, but he was frustrated by the delivery time on even the two week schedule. I am worried that you’re potentially losing customers like him because of your delivery schedule, and I can only see that getting worse when you switch to one shirt a month.

There are my two cents, keep up the great work, love it, :)
