New T-Shirt: Diamond Chasers

Diamond Chasers - Limited Edition T-Shirt from 200nipples

Our next t-shirt for sale is “Diamond Chasers” by Diesel Laws!

Diesel Laws is a young, talented Designer from Australia.

Diesel spent much of his youth exploring his
creativity through painting, sculpting, drawing, filming and
photography. In the later school years he discovered that his passion
for these creative forms was matched by his natural talent.

He began to dabble in computer programs to
create his art. He also pursued various interests and learnt a lot
about graphics and art while studying in a Film and Television course.

Graduating from that program he decided that
he could use his skills and passion in more ways than just those taught
to him, and he began making logos, banners, and designs for other
people. This simply was not satisfying enough.

He began to create unique 3D Vector Art images
and characters on computer, sometimes using sketches initially to
create their individual personalities. Finding great satisfaction in
this, he began producing these designs at rapid speed and now has an
entertaining collection of characters catering for all those that
appreciate this art form.

Those who know the infamous Diesel Laws are
continually astounded by the number of fresh ideas and seemingly
endless energy he has for his art.

Check out more of his great design (he also does skate decks and some killer digital art) at DieselLaws.com.

will this actually be on a t-shirt, or a long sleeve one like all the others??

It’ll be on a t-shirt, Moose. We’ll always print on the shirts you see in the pics.

Awesome design. I really like the colors. I will definitely be picking this one up.

I’ve bought a few (3 or so) of your shirts before. This one is just too cutesy and kiddified for me.

I may get it for someone as a gift though, if I can catch a really good price this midnight.

Guys, your shirts have always been really good. I like the ones that are slightly darker though. I’m a little disappointed in this one.

Can’t please everyone though, and like I said depending on the price I may get one.

It’s boring. It’s not thought provoking. I can hardly tell what is going on. Are those cyclops birds?

I feel like most of the designs have been good enough to have been voted into a shirt by the Threadless community. I may not have wanted to purchase all of them, but I could at least recognize their artistic merit.

I don’t understand this shirt. I don’t see its value. I don’t think it meets the Threadless standard.

Diesel has some really cool art–really good for skate decks. I’m not feeling this design. At all.

I agree with Will (minus the Threadless comparison), this isn’t terribly interesting or something I would want to display on my person, especially as a girl who isn’t really a gold digger if you know what I mean.

And the blue guys kinda look like slightly used condoms to me. :/

What a cool looking shirt, nice graffiti edge. It seems like great commentary to me… Only big dumb one eyed birds chase such silly things in life, it would have been cooler I think if the one that got the diamond actually had a frown. Maybe I am way off though… All I know is I am not one of those birds. I may wear one though ;)

Even as a cutesy shirt, I don’t really find the appeal for the shirt.
The designer has heaps of other cool shirts though. Strange choice for this one :/

First, thank you to 200nipples for printing this shirt.

Second, thank you for your comments on the artwork. This design was created just for 200nipples.

There are always a lot of great interpretations from my designs but the basic idea I had for this shirt was to create an interesting set of creatures, very similar to graffiti/stencil art seen plastered around the world. The reference to money hungry, one eyed birds is brilliant and maybe subconsciously this is what I was creating!

Also, thank you for anyone who looks through my website (http://diesellaws.com) as a result of this design.

Them: Hey, cool shirt. What does it mean?
    You: I don’t know.
    Them: … oh.
    You: Jealous?
    Them: What?
    You: Yeah, you look jealous.

That last post wasn’t meant to be harsh. Cool design. I’m over thirty so I figured it was a reference to some video game that I’ll never play, at least until I have to babysit my niece.

well done DL, i think this is one of the cooler designs on 200nipples… keep chasing them diamonds

so i got DRESS CODED by my teacher. She said this design refers to LSD. Which i kinda agree, since the ones who have the diamond are smiling and the ones who do not have diamonds are frowning. This is the only teacher in my school who could of figured this out, well she the only teacher there who actually knows what emo is also. So it does not really bother me. I love the design, and i will continue to wear it =D

Interesting how they could’ve drawn that comparison but it definitely was not a design about drugs. I believe it more closely resembles money hungry monsters and the limits they will push through to get to the diamonds. But hey, You were still quite lucky to be wearing that shirt at school anyway!

I’m still waiting on my shirt :(
