Upside Down is the only way I can succinctly describe a world in which 25 hedge fund managers are paid a sum that would employ 680,000 entry-level teachers. The person in the swing is supported by an infrastructure (the tree) grown of violence (the bomb). I think of that person as your average first-world citizen living in a waking dream powered by fast food value menus, Dancing With The Stars, NASCAR and the NFL (all streaming in high definition).

It’s notable that this shirt is the first 200 Nipples shirt we will sell at flat pricing ($29) and with free shipping (every order, every location, worldwide). The short story is that we’ve had a lot people ask for flat pricing, it will allow us to keep doing what we’re doing and now people who want the higher numbers can get them. The only absolute in this life is change itself. (Cliche but true, right? Stick with me.)

Every moment of our lives change is afoot. It’s within and around us all day, every day. In those every-moments we have an opportunity to affect that change.

There’s no stopping it, only directing it. Preserving the status quo will always be a short-term game pursued by those in power at the expense of those who are not.

The real question is will the changes happening in and around you right now going to be progress or regress? Are you getting older and wiser through introspection and analysis; or are you becoming worn down and cynical out of laziness? Does your self, family, community, and environment benefit from your existence; or are you dead weight?

The way is up to us, the change is not. Try not to waste too much time in apathy and fear. That’s easier said than done, but stewing doesn’t help. So, get in the game and make yourself and your small part of the world better. Oh yeah: and buy this shirt. (And if someone asks you what it means, tell them it’s better than the only alternative.)

Classic-Cut: My Way by 200nipples

Does little blue alien man have a decision to make… Or is he offering us ultimatum? Has he been cast out of the halftoned-sky-metropolis, or is he guardian, standing as Cerberus at the crossroads issuing a this-or that warning to all who would enter?
