New Shirt Notice: "I Need Bacon"

I Need Bacon T-Shirt

I Need Bacon T-Shirt

What do you really need? Is a life sustained, but only just, worth living? I can’t say with any authority because I’m not a philosopher; I’m a web developer, but it seems like the kind of question that could easily be answered with pop-art…

I’ve amended the standard list of needs here to include bacon. Why bacon? Well… I’m pretty sure it’s what they serve in line at the pearly gates when you’re waiting to get into heaven. Bacon is the champagne of meats; a total indulgence. I don’t even own a pig. If I did, assuming the pig was ready for slaughter, it would still take weeks to properly make (cure?) bacon. It’s also bad for me, salty and full of fat. Mmmmmmmm…

So I’m actually saying that life survived, but just, is not worth living. Along with certain things we must have for survival, we also need at least something that we want. This could be laughter or love, I suppose; your thing may not necessarily be bacon, but honestly, it probably is.

I Need Bacon goes on sale on the home page November 1st at 12:00am (US CST). Enjoy…

I like this shirt a lot better than last week’s. Bacon is funny. I will go online and get one for my hubby at midnight. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that it is a “message t”. I would prefer just the pictures and if someone really wanted to figure out the message behind the pix, they could ask. Not a huge fan of the message t’s. Also, they don’t look good under a cardigan, which is about the only way you could wear this during the late fall in the midwest. Well I guess you could layer a long sleever underneath but that is a little bit too messy of a look for my hubby to get away with at his job.

I like the design icons, but I’m not sure about the text. I love text t-shirts, but there’s something about this text that’s off.

Maybe it’s too many words? Something shorter like “Necessities.” or “Life’s Necessities.” or “Basic Survival Skills” or “Survival Basics”

A bacon themed design is almost always a winner in my book, but I’m wondering if a more bacony shade of t-shirt would have worked (chocolate crispy brown or breakfast buffet maroon)

Setting my alarm so I can try to get a good number this time :)

Substitute yarn for bacon and you’d have a shirt that appealed to me.

I find this really boring. This design doesn’t seem that creative to me as previous ones in it’s presentation. I think it could be easily interpreted as fire, water, food and shelter, the bacon aspect isn’t that pronounced.

Concept is good… But the shirts so simple I’m not interested in it.

The majority of recent shirts have been boring or just weak concepts =\.

The yarn reply got us to thinking. It might have been better to leave a blank ____. in the circle which currently houses bacon. Which would add that everyone has their own specific needs to live.

Not a big fan of the recent t-shirts…

I’m also a little disappointed in the recent shirts. Considering you guys have a whole month to design/select a tee to print, the concepts have been rather weak. This is something I’d expect on a BustedTees shirt. You have such an original and interesting business model, get the shirts to match!
